DAY 2 BUDAPEST - MOHACS
Breakfast on board.Morning dedicated to the optional guided tour of Budapest . Discover this wonderful city that the Danube devides in 2 parts: Buda , with its hills, valleys, and Pest , with its flat area, which panoramic view over the Danube banks is listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site . Return on board for lunch. In the afternoon, optional guided tour to the Royal Castle of Godollo , the largest baroque castle in Hungary , surrounded by a 28 hectare park. Visit the halls with the portraits of the Grassalkovich family and the Royal Apartments of Franz Joseph and Queen Elisabeth. Dinner on board and cruise towards Mohacs , the most southern city on the Danube.

DAY 3 MOHACS - BEZDAN - NOVI SAD
Breakfast on board. Departure by coach from Mohacs for the optional visit of Pecs . Morning dedicated to the guided city tour, regional centre in the south of Hungary and birthplace of the famous painter Victor Vasarely . You will visit the main square, the cathedral, and the Roman remains.This 2000 year old city,located at the foot of the Mecsek mountain, with a Mediterranean climate and atmosphere, is an episcopal sea since 1009 . Return on board for lunch. Continuation of the cruise heading for Bezdan , on the border between Hungary and Serbia (customs control). Then, cruise to Novi Sad ( Republic of Serbia ). Dinner and night on board.

DAY 4 NOVI SAD - TITEL - ZENTA
After breakfast, departure by coach for an optional tour to Novi Sad . The city is located in the southern area of the “Big Plain”, in the Baga region on the left bank of the Danube . Optional visit of the famous Petrovaradin Castle .We will get back on the boat in Titel , city located between the Tisza , the Danube , and Mount Begej . Lunch on board and departure of the boat. We will join the Tisza (the large Hungarian river) and discover marvellous landscapes. Sailing to Zenta . Dinner and entertainment on board. Put in for the night.

DAY 5 ZENTA - SZEGED
Breakfast on board while cruising. You will go through the border and customs in Kanizsa . Arrival at 9.00 am in S zeged , “sunny city”, the largest city in the Big Hungarian Plain, located at the confluence of two rivers: the Tisza and the Maros. Optional guided tour of the city, wellknown for its Summer Festival on the cathedral square (from mid-July to mid- August), and of the park on the main square. Stroll in the pedestrian shopping street and on the banks of the Tisza . During your free time, you will have the opportunity to visit the “Pick salami and paprika” museum. You can discover the manufacturing process of the salami, world-known since 1869 . Full board on the boat. Evening on your own. Put in for the night.

DAY 6 SZEGED – CSANYTELEK - CSONGRAD - SZOLNOK
Departure early in the morning. Breakfast on board. We will reach Csanytelek about 8:30 am , departure place for the (included) tour to Opusztaszer , memorial park of natural history. Its open-air ethnographic collection where richness is exceptional. You will discover: a farm producing paprika, a school from the farm region, a blacksmith and a cartwright workshop, a handcart demonstration, and a fisherman’s house. They all faithfully show you the way of living in the Alföld Plain in the 19 th century. You will admire the famous “panoramic painting” which depicts the conquest of the Carpathians basin by the “Magyar”, painting made for the Hungary millennium exhibition in 1896 . Return on board in Csongrad . Lunch on board. Afternoon sailing through the “Southern Big Plaine”, a landscape “as flat as the sea”. The river gives birth to this sandy landscape and provides the fishes used for the “bouillabaisse”(fish soup), a speciality of this region. It’s in this low area of the country that the sun is shining the longer time. Then, we will reach Szolnok , the north of the “Big Plaine”. Arrival in the evening. Dinner and Hungarian theme entertainment. Put in for the night.

DAY 7 SZOLNOK – TISZAFURED THE TISZA LAKE
Departure early in the morning. Breakfast. Cruising between lakes and rivers. You will be amazed by the magical beauty of the unspoilt nature. Little paradise in the middle of the plaine of Alföld, you will discover the second biggest water surface in the country. Lunch on board. Arrival in Tiszafüred about 2:30 pm , a marina in the middle of the nature. This part of the lake is appreciated for its calmness. Departure for the optional tour to Hortobagy . It is one of the largest meadow, called “puszta”, in Europe ( 1.400 km 2 ). The Hortobagy National Park stretches on 70.000 hectares and is listed as a World Heritage Site since 1999 . It holds incomparable treasures in the heart of Europe . Return on board in Tiszafüred. Dinner and gala evening. Put in for the night.

DAY 8 TISZAFURED - TOKAJ
Departure early in the morning towards Tokaj. Breakfast while cruising. Arrival about 2:00 pm . Tokaj is located at the top of a loess hillock which penetrates inside the Big Plain of Hungary. The dessert wine “Tokaj aszu” also called “the king of wines and the wine of the kings” comes from this historical wine region of Tokay-Hegyalja. Discover this charming village with its old dwellings and its thick stone walls. Some beautiful Baroque buildings. Optional guided tour of the Rakoczi cellar, real natural cave for the ageing of the Tokaj wines, followed by a wine tasting. Return on board for dinner. Evening on your own. Put in for the night.

DAY 9 TOKAJ
Breakfast on board. Disembarkation.
